Introduction

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to Farm open-world dungeons, contracts, and more with ease using our Staff Wand Solo Farm Build

Skills

The Staff/Wand weapon combination excels at solo farming with Great Damage and Elite Sustain. Below is our recommended skill setup for Solo Farming. We’ll cover more on Skill rotation below.

Skill specializations

Skill Specializations are an important part of every build. For Staff Wand, these specializations help us gain more mobility, damage, and survivability. Below is our recommendation for Skill Specializations while solo farming.

Weapon Mastery

Weapon Mastery is gained through consuming an item called Training Dew. Training Dew can be earned in several activities including Contracts in Throne and Liberty. Once consumed it will increase the Weapon Mastery of your equipped weapons. Below is a general guideline of how to spend your mastery points.

Stats Priority and Guardian

Attributes are an important part of Throne and Liberty. Hitting Stat thresholds can give your character

  • Wisdom – 50
  • Strength – 50
  • Perception – 40
  • Remaining stats into Dexterity

Wisdom is the main attribute of this build. The increase in Cooldown reduction and Mana regen from Wisdom will help you continue pushing through farming without stopping to regenerate Mana. Not only does it allow you to stay topped off with health and mana, but it also provides increased damage by making your DPS skill available more often.

The extra Strength from health will help out with survivability and increase your heavy hit chance and Perception allows us more uptime on our self-buffs, increasing damage and incoming healing. If you feel comfortable with the survivability of the build, you can always move some Strength and Perception to get to 40 DEX. This will increase your kill time by adding increased critical chance and Bonus damage.

Guardian

Guardians are a unique transformation on a 10-minute Cooldown that gives powerful bonuses to you for 30 seconds. Some Guardians work as an additional “Active” Skill, while others provide buffs. We recommend the following Guardians for Solo Farming:

  • Shade Revenant Stheno – Stheno is the most offense-heavy choice in PVE. This Guardian dishes out consistent damage dealing projectiles to multiple targets.
  • Lady Knight Kamarshea – This Guardian is a fantastic safety net, just incase you’re taking too much damage during pulls. You’ll also get a huge amount of Cooldown Speed too.

How to play the Staff Wand Solo Farm Build

While leveling, the Staff Wand build grants Good Ranged DPS with ELITE sustain. Along with healing spells, you will also gain access to Inner Piece, and several passives that will help keep your health and mana full to stay in the fight. Below, let’s look at your skill rotation.

Skill Rotation

For this build, the skill rotation can be broken down into two parts: Damage and Recovery. First, let’s look at the damage rotation.

Damage Rotation

  • Start the fight by applying Time for Punishment to the target.
  • Apply Touch of Despair on cooldown
  • Fire Bombs on cooldown
  • inferno Wave on cooldown
  • Once 10 Burnstacks have been applied
    • Fireball Barrage
    • Chain Lightning
    • Judgment Lightning

Recovery (sustain)

To recover back to full health/Mana while dealing passive damage with the Inner Piece – Thunder Blessing spec. Lay down Fountain of Life and cast Inner Piece in the AOE heal. This should top off your health, restore your mana, and get you back to farming.
