Introduction

In this Twisted Laboratory dungeon guide, we’ll explain and take you through a step-by-step of how to progress and beat the final boss to clear this particular 3-star dungeon. 3-star dungeons in Throne and Liberty provide incredible rewards to aid the next level of progression in Tier 2. These dungeons are particularly difficult until you’re fully geared. As a result, a mix of maxed out T1 gear and some T2 gear is advised.

Trash Clearing, Mini-bosses and Pre-Final Boss Objectives

Just like in every other Dungeon in Throne and Liberty, there is a slew of objectives, basic mobs and a couple of mini-bosses to kill if you want to reach the main boss. This applies to 1-star, 2-star and 3-star dungeons also. However, in this guide, we’ll be focusing on how to defeat the final boss of the dungeon – the hardest part by far. As a result, make sure to check back for the full breakdown of the Twisted Laboratory dungeon guide here in the near future. Finally, keep in mind these objectives while pushing through the Laboratory:

  • Clear out any unavoidable trash mobs to ensure you don’t over-pull mobs.
  • Check your current objective(s) on the right-hand side of the screen and complete them accordingly.
  • Most mini-bosses have minimal if any mechanics, just be sure to stay healthy, dodge attacks and deal damage.
  • Pick up any Resurrection Gate where possible.

PLEASE NOTE: The guide below is the COMPLETE guide of the dungeon – all mechanics included. However, some of the mechanics are stripped away in the “base” version of the dungeon. These mechanics are added back in the “Dimensional Trials” mode at certain Tiers of difficulty. As a result, the base version of the dungeon is much easier than you might expect after seeing all the mechanics below.

Final Boss – Kaiser Crimson

Within the first moments of the boss fight, Kaiser unleashes a Wrath Attack that knocks players that fail to dodge into the air.

Around 90% HP, Kaiser initiates his first main mechanic of the fight. One player is targeted and receives a purple circle around them. Above their head is a number of purple swirling orbs, this means the total amount of players that need to be standing inside that purple circle – including the player with the mechanic. For example, if there is 4 orbs above the players head, 3 additional players have to get into the circle.

Darkslayer’s Memory

Once the correct amount of players are in the circle, a Darkslayer Memory spawns. The memory is very important, as shortly after, Kaiser Crimson places a debuff on every party member, draining Health and restricting healing. As a result, the party needs to move to the Darkslayer’s Memory to remove the debuff. Be careful, however, as the memory has a health bar that can be broken by Kaiser’s attacks.

Next, Kaiser Crimson teleports to the center of the arena, raining down a series of arena-wide AoE blood circles that deal decent damage. You’ll have enough time to avoid these attacks.

Once the damage circle phase is over, Kaiser uses a Fury Attack in which players need to split up into two groups, some players that’re near the boss and then 3 more inside the memory. The party is recommended to nominate one player inside the memory to stand the furthest back from the boss. This is due to the bosses Fury Attack targeting the furthest player. As a result, each player inside the memory standing blocks the incoming Fury Attack, breaking the memory from the attack bouncing.

Breaking the memory creates a safe space within Kaisers next attack, which is a party-wide large damage attack. It is essential to create the safe space and protect yourselves, especially in Dimensional Trials.

Kaiser is pretty much a rinse and repeat until defeated at this point. However, expect additional blood circles after the spawning the Darkslayer’s Memory in the base version of the dungeon. Defeat Kaiser and claim your rewards!
