Introduction
In order to gain access to Taedal’s Tower floor 4 you must be level 20 and have completed floor three. On this floor you will be facing a giant goblin. Despite being large, the giant spinning goblin attacks quickly. The boss performs a variety of attacks including a large cleaving attack and a brutal belly flop.

Abilities & Mechanics
Much like any other boss you face in Throne and Liberty you should aim to perform a perfect block whenever you see the purple circle appear. There are a few abilities you should be aware of so that you can complete Taedal’s Tower floor 4.
- Spin – As the floor name suggests, Spinning Goblins, the boss has a spin attack. The boss will shout “No one can stop me!” and then he will start spinning. Once you hear him shout make sure you move away from the boss. You will need to continue to kite him around until the spinning has stopped. This attack is fairly easy to avoid as long as you pay attention to the shout. The spin deals a good amount of damage so make sure you avoid it.
- Jump – The goblin will leap towards your position and belly flop on you. If you hit by the leaping belly flop you will be stunned. However, you can avoid being stunned by performing a perfect block. You will see the purple circle appear on the boss whenever this attack is about to happen.
- Pull – The boss will pull you toward him and chop you with his sword.
- Push – Spinning goblin will glow red and then push you back with his belly. After he pushes you he will then perform his jump attack.
- Chop – The boss will chop down with his sword dealing damage. This attack can also be blocked with a perfect block. The purple block circle will appear as he is raising his sword above his head.
For this fight simply make sure you keep your distance and kite during his spin attack. Also make sure you are properly blocking the belly flop to avoid the stun. The stun leaves you vulnerable for follow up damage and can lead you to losing the fight. Those two mechanics are the most prominent of the encounter. Avoid them and you’ll make quick work of the fight.
