Introduction
Welcome to our Staff Wand Healer PVE Guide! Want to heal your allies while dealing massive amounts of Magic Damage? Learn how in our Throne and Liberty Staff Wand PVE Build Guide. This weapon combination creates the “Invocator” Class.
Skills
The Staff/Wand weapon combination excels at supporting your allies while also dealing damage. This weapon combo also provides the best mana sustain in Throne and Liberty. Below is the Skill setup for the build.
Skill Specializations
With Staff/Wand healing, we want to use our Skill specializations to increase the effectiveness of our support spells and supplement our damage output. Below is a look at how to spend your Skill specialization points.
Weapon Mastery
Weapon Mastery is gained through consuming an item called Training Dew. Training Dew can be earned in several activities including Contracts in Throne and Liberty. Once consumed it will increase the Weapon Mastery of your equipped weapons. Below is a general guideline of how to spend your mastery points.
Stat Priority and Guardian
Attributes are an important part of Throne and Liberty. Hitting Stat thresholds can give your character
- Wisdom – 40
- Dexterity – 40
- Wisdom to 50
- Dex to 60 .
Wisdom is the main attribute of this build. The increase in Cooldown reduction and Mana regen from Wisdom will help you continue pushing through content without stopping to regenerate Mana. Not only does it allow you to stay topped off with health and mana, but it also helps you have your support skills available when your team needs them.
The extra Strength from health will help with survivability and increase your heavy hit chance. Dexterity will increase your damage and your chance of a critical strike with both your damage skills and heals.
Guardian
Guardians are a unique transformation on a 10-minute Cooldown that gives powerful bonuses to you for 30 seconds. Some Guardians work as an additional “Active” Skill, while others provide buffs. We recommend the following Guardians for Solo Farming:
Lady Knight Kamarshea – This Guardian is a fantastic safety net, just in case you’re taking too much damage during pulls. You’ll also get a huge amount of Cooldown Speed too.
Equipment
If you’re having trouble getting the Excavator Wand, use Lequirus’s Coveted Tome.
How to play the Staff Wand PVE Healer Build
The Staff Wand Combination allows us to support our group while helping out with DPS. To learn how to play the build effectively, well break down the build into two sections: Group Support and DPS.
Group Support
The primary function of this build is to support your allies. Below is a quick breakdown of the support use of each of your spells
- Swift Healing – Primary Single target healing ability. It can be used on one target or spread across two to three
- Fountain of Life – AOE healing skill that also restores mana
- Clay’s Salvation – AOE heal that cleanses the “Weakened” status effect from allies
- Invincible Wall – Overshield that helps prep for group damage
- High Focus – increases the damage output of your group
- Time for Punishment – increases damage dealt to the target.
DPS
Along with support, this build allows you to deal damage through quick casting range spells, making it possible to deal damage while having your support skills available as soon as you need them. Below is a quick look at your damage rotation:
- Apply Touch of Despair on cooldown
- Fire Bombs on cooldown
- inferno Wave on cooldown
- Once 10 Burnstacks have been applied
- Fireball Barrage
- Judgment Lightning
- Use Thunderblessing near the boss to regen mana and deal damage.
- Make sure to cast inside of Fountain of Life when possible
