Introduction

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUIDE IS RELEVANT FOR THE OPEN WORLD, RIFTSTONE AND GUILD RAID VERSIONS OF MALAKAR

Welcome to our Malakar Guild Boss guide. In Throne and Liberty, multiple Raid Bosses appear throughout the open world and in Guild Raid activities. Each boss is at a different level and brings their own unique mechanics. Malakar is a Level 45 Boss, as a result, we recommend tackling this with guildmates that exceed that level. Malakar in the open world is found at Manawastes. However, once your Guild hits level 15, you can take on Malakar with your Guild via the Guild Hall. Lets take a look at Malakar’s mechanics and how to defeat it!

Malakar Boss Fight [Normal Difficulty]

Phase 1

During the starting moments of the boss fight, Malakar selects one player and places a red eyeball marker above their head. This marker indicates Malakar is going to focus on this player the duration of this phase. However, be aware that if the marked player stands in melee range, Malakar begins to bounce on the ground, dealing large AoE damage. As a result, it is best to avoid this scenario and save your melee players. Malakar also has one main Fury Attack that hits from range, so be ready to block it!

Another attack to be aware of throughout the fight is a ranged lobbing missile sent out to multiple players. The missile hits the ground at the players feet and explodes within a circle radius, dealing huge damage. As a result, be aware of these missiles and pre-move accordingly!

Phase 2

After a short while, Malakar quickly teleports to the furthest player away from itself in the arena. The follow up is incredibly quick, as a result, be prepared for this attack! Malakar emits a giant blue wave, shortly firing a wave of the same size after. This wave stuns everyone that hits them.

Next, Malakar drags in every player in the arena and begins bouncing multiple times on top of the recently dragged in players. This part of the phase can wipe most players caught in the mechanic.

After this attack, the boss fight resets back to Phase 1 until the boss is defeated! Best of luck on the loot!
