Introduction

Welcome to our Dagger Wand solo build guide. In this guide, we’ll go over our recommended way to set-up the Dagger Wand weapon combination for Solo Farming. This set-up is primarily used in Abyss Dungeons in the Open World. Dagger Wand provides a fairly stress-free set-up of good damage, and sustain through Wand healing. This difficult but rewarding combo of weapons creates the “Darkblighter” Class.

Skills

Below is our Skill set-up for Solo PVE farming:

This combination of Skills allows for large mob pulls and plans to AoE everything down with the Curse Explosion rotation and Dagger Thunder Skills. We plan to use Fatal Stigma to do maximum AoE damage with Thunderclouds stacks and then burst the stacks with Brutal Incision (Thunderclouds Bombing).

Skill Specializations

With 100 total points to play with once you hit Level 50, below is our recommended Specializations for the Dagger Wand Solo build:

These particular Specializations provides a comfortable set-up for farming mobs in small or large quantities. Dagger Wand has decent single-target DPS in PVE versus bosses through the use of Thunderclouds Bombing. However, it boasts some powerful AoE as well such as Fatal Stigma and the Curse Explosion set-up. Through Specializations, Dagger Wand also buffs up its own Skill Damage. See our Skill Specializations guide for more information.

Weapon Mastery

This guide assumes you are at least in the range of Level 13-16 Weapon Mastery. However, if you’re below this threshold, it’s not an issue. Simply spec into the mastery trees that provide the most damage first.

Stats

Stats once you reach Tier 1 Epic gear can vary frequently due to stats built into gear. As a result, try to push for at least 60 Strength and a mix of all other stats while farming – gear depending. Below is our recommended baseline Stat allocation:

  • Dexterity – 16 Points
  • Perception – 15 Points
  • Strength – 16 Points
  • Wisdom – 2 Points

Gear & Equipment

The gear loadout largely, if not entirely, stays the same across all content once you reach Tier 1 Epic. Our Tier 1 Epic set assumes that most of the base content has been unlocked with the Milestones completed.

Early on, make use of your Rare gear you acquired through MSQ. It is totally fine and expected to be in Rare gear for quite a long time – so don’t worry too much! Most of the time, your PVP gear is perfectly fine in PVE.

If you’re specifically a PVE-Only player, then we suggest looking to obtain the Shadow Harvester Mask and Shadow Harvester Grips for more Critical Hit Damage.

Guardian

Guardians are a unique transformation on a 10 minute Cooldown that gives powerful bonuses to you for 30 seconds. Some Guardians work as an additional “Active” Skill, while others provide buffs. We recommend the following Guardians for Solo Farming:

  • Shade Revenant Stheno – Stheno is the most offense-heavy choice in PVE. This Guardian dishes out consistent damage dealing projectiles to multiple targets.

How to Play The Dagger Wand Solo Build

Our Wand Dagger Solo build guide not only aims to teach you how to put it together, but also how to play it.

The main objective of playing this build solo is to be able to manage multiple mobs alone and efficiently clear them. Dagger Wand has the ability to self-sustain through Wand healing, while dealing large AoE and Single-Target damage. This is achieved through the Dagger Skills set-up for Single-Target Thunderclouds Bombing burst and the Wands Curse Explosion.

Skill Rotations

The standard large pack pull rotation is as follows:

  • Inject Venom (Lightning Infusion)
  • Time for Punishment (Enchanting Time)
  • Umbral Spirit (Thunder Spirit)
  • Ray of Disaster
  • Fatal Stigma (AoE)
  • Touch of Despair
  • Cleaving Moonlight
  • Lightning Infusion second activation
  • Brutal Incision (Thunderclouds Bombing)
  • Touch of Despair
  • Corrupted Magic Circle
  • Curse Explosion

This is the full AoE combo the build can pull off. It’s important to let Fatal Stigma explode first before using Brutal Incision (Thunderclouds Bombing). This is due to Fatal Stigma requiring Thundercloud stacks to deal maximum damage. As a result, this conflicts with Thunderclouds Bombing, which consumes the stacks to deal maximum damage.

For a single-target approach to an elite inside an Abyss Dungeon, you can use the following:

  • Inject Venom (Lightning Infusion)
  • Time for Punishment (Lightning Infusion)
  • Blessed Barrier (Fighting Spirit)
  • Touch of Despair
  • Fatal Stigma
  • Cleaving Moonlight
  • Brutal Incision (Thunderclouds Bombing)
  • Touch of Despair
  • Corrupted Magic Circle
  • Curse Explosion
