Introduction
PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUIDE IS RELEVANT FOR THE OPEN WORLD AND GUILD RAID VERSIONS OF ARIDUS
Welcome to our Aridus Guild Boss guide. In Throne and Liberty, multiple Raid Bosses appear throughout the open world and in Guild Raid activities. Each boss is at a different level and brings their own unique mechanics. Aridus is a Level 50 Boss, as a result, we recommend tackling this with guildmates that exceed that level. Aridus in the open world is found on floor 5 of the Syleus Abyss open world Dungeon. However, once your Guild hits level 17, you can take on Aridus with your Guild via the Guild Hall. Lets take a look at Aridus’s mechanics and how to defeat it!

Aridus Boss Fight [Normal Difficulty]
Phase 1
Aridus is host to several attacks, one of the main attacks that is used early, is the Wasp mechanic. Aridus selects a player and puts a green icon above their head. As a result, three wasps spawn and chase the player until they’re either killed or de-spawn during a future mechanic later in the fight.
Periodically, Aridus also hits you with a goo-like ranged attack as seen above. However, this deals a small portion of damage and isn’t fatal.
Gas Cone
Aridus’s go-to attack is without a doubt the Death Gas Cone. This attack fires out from Aridus in a fairly narrow cone compared to other bosses. However, it hits incredibly hard if you’re caught inside it. As a result, try to move out of it or never be inside the cone. Aridus essentially spams this cone multiple times throughout the fight, so be ready for it.
Circle Threat
Once the fight duration has dragged on a little while, Aridus begins to charge up a large-scale attack. This attack covers the entire outside half of the arena in a ring shape. As a result, players must scramble to the center and stack up to avoid major damage or deaths.
Sleep Phase
Aridus casts a raid-wise sleep spell on all players. This is the main mechanic where the wasps are required as a result of wasp attacks waking players up. The first three players to wake up is the players being chased by the wasps, they must then drag the wasps through all the slept players.
This attack once it explodes also removes the wasps from the arena. However, Aridus tends to quickly summon them again right after on a new target. The fight resets back to the standard loop of normal attacks and mechanics. Keep DPSing the boss down until you defeat it!
