Tamer Build
The following modules and weapon readjustment stats are recommended for the Tamer Build in The First Descendant. For additional information, such as mod upgrading priority, catalyst priority, and more, check the additional information sections below.
Additional Information
This build revolves around utilizing the Mental Focus special mod in order to get maximum DPS. The Tamer has a large base magazine capacity. This makes the Mental Focus mod a great fit for this weapon. You’ll also want increase the rounds per magazine with modules and weapon readjustment. This is because the more rounds you have in your magazine, the more benefit you will receive from the Mental Focus module.
Even though this weapon has a low base critical chance value, adding additional critical damage will add much more value to the damage than additional additional crit chance. This is done through the use of the Concentration Priority and Better Concentration mods.
The following are the recommended modules for the Tamer in order to deal the highest DPS with the weapon. These are listed in order to importance according to the stats you’ll want to prioritize.

This will help you determine which mods to fully upgrade, and which to leave off if you choose to not fully Catalyst the weapon.
Where to Get The Tamer
The Tamer is an easy to obtain machine gun in the First Descendant. It’s a high DPS weapon, however shooting and aiming with the gun is very slow. There are better weapons as you progress though the game, but the Tamer is a great weapon that you can obtain early. It’s worth investing into to get you through most of the Colossus fights. The easiest way to obtain this weapon is by running the mission called Abandoned reconstruction site on normal. This mission is located in the Agna Desert in The Remnant zone.
