Introduction

As you progress the main story in No Rest for the Wicked you’ll find yourself in an area called the Nameless Pass. At the end of this area you’ll need to find a key called the Quarry Guard Key. This key can be a bit tricky to find, and requires completing a jump puzzle in order to get to it.

This guide will show you exactly where to find the Quarry Guard Key in No Rest for the Wicked.

Quarry Guard Key Location

Once you have completed the crane puzzle and opened the gate in the Nameless pass, you’ll find yourself in the prison area. From here you’ll need to turn the wheel in the center of the prison cells.

Once you have cleared the enemies you can enter either the 2nd or 3rd cell. There will be ledge in between the cells that you can climb.

Climb on the ledge and then head west to jump over the first gap. Keep walking long the ledge and jump over the second gap onto the next platform with the wooden grates.

From here you’ll need to follow the platform and head north over to the ladder against the wall. Climb the ladder up to the next level. After you have climbed the ladder you’ll see a broken wooden bridge.

Cross the bridge, but be careful not to fall. Once you get the end of the bridge you will need to jump to the ledge to the east.

Once on the ledge, follow it until you run into a wall. From here you will jump onto the wooden swinging platform to the south. There are a total of 4 of these platforms you’ll need to make it across. Be careful not to go to fast here or you will jump onto one platform and instantly jump again. Take your time and make sure you let off of the jump button right when you land.

From the last swinging platform you will jump onto the ledge to the south. Make your way around the ledge carefully, and then climb up. Be careful not to fall of here or you’ll have to redo the entire puzzle.

Once you’re at the top you will need to carefully cross the wooden beam. Once across the beam you’ll be inside of the small room high in the air. The key is right in the middle of this room. Grab the key and then you can go open to the door to free the prisoner.
