Mining

Mining is used to gather ore and other precious metals for crafting and improving Sacrament. You can get a Pick Axe by crafting one, looting it in the open world, or buying one from Fillmore the Blacksmith in Sacrament.

To mine ore, stand next to a node and use the default “E” Key or Y button on the Controller

Wood Cutting

Wood Cutting allows you to chop down trees using your axe. You can use the wood you get to craft and upgrade Sacrament. You can get a Woodcutter’s Axe by Looting one, Crafting one, or buying one from Whitaker in Sacrament.

To Cut down a tree, simply stand next to one and use the default “E” Key or Y button on the Controller

Fishing

Fishing is used to catch fish from hotspots that you can use in food and other consumable recipes.

To go Fishing you must first find a hotspot. These are found in bodies of water such as rivers and the sea. Once you find a fishing hot spot, use the default “E” Key or Y button on the Controller to fish. Remember, you must have a fishing pool equipped to do so.

Digging

Finally, there are digging hotspots located in the open world. Simply equip a shovel and start digging. Here you can find items such as coal, clay and more!

Other Gathering

There are other items you can collect all over No Rest for the Wicked, including herbs, mushrooms and more. There is no tools required to gather these simply use the default key (default “E” Key or Y button on the Controller) to pick them up.
