Introduction

The Springtide Bloom New World event happens every spring in Aeternum. This event is much like the other events in New World. There are villages you need to visit to start the quest, earn a reputation, buy items at an event-specific store, spritz’s you need to craft, and wasps to exterminate.

The Time of Awakening has arrived! Springtide Bloom calls its children to share an ancient secret capable of granting true freedom. Help the enigmatic Bloom Herald unravel the mysteries of the ethereal Wispybloom and collect Springtide’s fertile bounty of event-specific rewards. Harvest with caution, as swarms of vile Wispy Wasps guard the blooms with fury! Truth Seekers must be level 25 or higher to embark upon the quest for enlightenment.

Springtide Bloom Locations

There are four Springtide Bloom Locations around Aeternum! They are Monarchs Bluff, Everfall, Brightwood, and Weaver’s Fen. For the exact locations of each, check out our interactive map of Aeternum! Each location of the Springtide Bloom event has the following features:

  • Event-specific store
  • Token trade-in location
  • Lore pages to collect
  • Wispy Spritz crafting tables

How the Event Works

To get started with the event you will need to visit one of the event locations. You can speak to the NPC on the platform, The Bloom Herald, to begin. This will lead you to craft your first wispy spritz and to complete your first wispy bloom field.

Crafting Wispy Spritz

To complete the events called wispybloom fields and earn event-specific items you will need to have several wispy spritz on hand. You can craft these at any event location. You will need to have the following materials:

  • 10 Fiber
  • 3 Honey
  • 1 Fire Mote

This will net you 8 wispy spritz. Once you have them crafted you are then ready to head out to a wispybloom field to participate in the event.

Wispybloom Fields

Wispybloom fields are scattered all over Aeternum. You can easily locate them by the circle in the sky, and by an icon on your map.

Once you’re in a field 3 wasps will spawn. They will chase you down and deal damage to you so be careful. If you attack the wasp you will only deal 1 damage to it, and will not be able to kill them. In order to kill the wasps you will need to place down a wispy spritz in one of the glowing white circles. Then, lure the wasps there. The spritz will explode damaging the wasps. This will not deal damage to you. You will need to do this roughly 3 times in order to fully exterminate the wasps.

Once you have taken out the wasps you can then collect your rewards. You will sometimes be rewarded with wispy wasp goo when you kill the wasps. This will drop as a loot bag so make sure you’re checking. After they are dead you are also free to take the flower in the middle of the field. Harvesting the flower will reward you with some wispy bloom petals. Both the goo and petals can be exchanged for tokens.

Trading Items for Tokens

You will need to trade the items you receive from completing the Wispybloom fields for tokens. These tokens can then be spent in the event shop for event-specific rewards.

You can obtain both a normal token and a premium token. The exchange rates are as follows:

  • 1 Wispy Wasp Goo = 1 Premium Token
  • 5 Wispybloom Petals = 1 Regular Token
  • 25 Regular Tokens & 1 Vial of Suspended Azoth = 1 Premium Token
  • 1 Premium Token = 25 Regular Tokens

Once you have acquired some tokens you can then make your way to the shop to purchase food, cosmetics, and gear patterns.

Earning Reputation

There are 3 tiers of items in the event shop, blossom, shepard, and herald. To access the items in each tier you will need to earn event reputation. The reputation required for each tier is:

  • Blossom – 0 Reputation
  • Shepard – 1,000 Repuatation
  • Herald – 4,000 repuation

Reputation can be earned by completing the quest, interacting with the joyous gift piles each day, and exchanging the event items for event tokens.
