The newest patch, Battle for the Throne of Chaos, came to the Western Audience with more content for us to enjoy. Basically one of the many new features, is the Ark Pass event. But as always, everything you need to know about the Ark Pass event for Lost Ark can be found here! [Side Note: This is different than the Powerpass system.]
The Ark Pass Event in Lost Ark
The Ark Pass started on April 21st, 2022. And it is currently set to stay until June 6th, 2022 when maintenance happens to remove it. This event particularly has players take on Missions to earn Ark experience to level up their Ark and earn rewards. Additionally, this event is a seasonal one and will come back, however any progress and unlocks from this season will not carry over.
Also, to access the Ark Pass event, select the “Ark Pass” icon next to your mini map. Doing so, will open the Ark Pass UI in which you can find everything you need to know about the event and track your progress. Additionally, this is where you will select your rewards!
Ark Pass Missions
Presently you don’t have to select or start the Ark Pass Missions! So they are all automatically active, meaning you just need to play the game to complete a Mission to earn Ark Experience. Altogether there are currently two different types of Missions: Normal Missions (Repeatable) and Seasonal Missions (One Time).
Also, all missions and mission progress can be seen by selecting the “View Missions” button found on the right-hand side of the Ark Pass UI.
Normal Missions
The Normal Missions for the Ark Pass are your normal dailies. From completing two Chaos Dungeons, Harvesting 2 Guardians, finishing 3 Una’s Tasks and more. However, you can only earn 500 Ark Experience a week using these methods.

Seasonal Missions
The Seasonal Missions are a wide variety of normal things you would do while playing the game. For example, playing 20 sheet music, hone your gear 20 times, repair your gear 20 times, and more. So, these ones will complete by just playing the game as well! There are a few oddities however, so you will want to review them from time to time. That way you can complete the odd ones like “Take a picture with the selfie mode.”

Ark Pass Rewards
The Ark Pass has 3 different tiers of rewards. Everyone is automatically part of the first tier, but the second and third tier requires the use of (MTX) Royal Crystals. Basically, the Ark Pass Premium costs 1,500 Royal Crystals and the Ark Pass Super Premium costs 3,000 Royal Crystals. Additionally, you don’t have to purchase them right away. So you have time to think about if you really want the tier 2 and tier 3 rewards.
Furthermore the Default Rewards is a selection between two different options. So, you can pick one of the two that you will want when accessible. Additionally, the Premium Rewards are mostly a collection of Honing Materials for all tiers and some other stuff (See below). And finally, the Super Premium Pass is mostly cosmetic items and is only accessible at every 5th Ark level.
