The Artillerist is a Gunner advanced class, specializing in heavy attacks with its massive heavy launcher gun. The class is all about AoE damage, with most abilities targeting large areas and doing large amounts of damage, there is a drawback, however, as the class is quite slow compared to most others in Lost Ark. 

Artillerist Leveling Guide

Leveling in Lost Ark is more of a tutorial for the class than anything else and you will have a fairly smooth experience doing just about anything. However, with that being said, there are a few things you can do to optimize your leveling experience. 

To maximize damage while leveling, you should focus all your skill points on the following skills: 

• Air Raid
• Gravity Explosion
• Flamethrower
• Napalm
• Homing Barrage
• Jump Bombardment (for mobility)

While these are the recommended skills, you can level up with just about anything. The most important thing for Artillerist is that you pick one good AoE and one good single-target skill, which will allow you to take down all forms of enemies quickly. 

Best Artillerist PvE Engravings and Stat Priority

The Artillerist is a class that unfortunately suffers when it comes to class-specific engravings. It has two engravings, Firepower Enhancer and Barrage, but only one of these is viable. 

Firepower Enhancer is the go-to class engraving for Artillerist, it reduces incoming damage and increases critical strike chance, being a good boost to survivability and damage. Barrage, meanwhile, buffs Barrage mode, which just doesn’t have a place in the game right now. This is because Barrage mode forces the Artillerist to stay still, while Lost Ark is a very mobile game and staying still will result in death most of the time. 

As such, we’ll only cover details for Firepower Enhancer and really wouldn’t recommend anyone to play Barrage mode as it will not be a good time.

Artillerist Chaos Dungeon & Cube Tripods and Skill Builds

Despite its lack of class-specific engraving variety, Artillerist is actually a great class, especially when it comes to dungeons and the cube. It’s one of the best AoE damage dealers, full of explosions, rockets, flames, and even more explosions.

The class excels at doing AoE damage and you’ll definitely enjoy blowing through hordes of monsters like it’s nothing. There are many different good builds, but we’ve picked one which has proven to be very effective in dungeons and the cube. You should also use Missile Barrage as your Awakening skill.

Artillerist Raid Tripods and Skill Builds

Despite an AoE focus, the Artillerist also has a good deal of spells tailored toward single target combat, aka killing bosses. As such, you’ll have to use a different build to maximize your damage in raids, but don’t worry, there are still explosions!

Best Artillerist PvE Combos

In Lost Ark, skills combo together to create a powerful chain of moves that is much more effective than using each move individually.  As such, there will be a huge damage difference between players who know how to get the most out of their class, and those who don’t. 

That being said, most fights are very dynamic, so you won’t always be able to complete your full combo, as surviving should be the key focus. Still, here’s how a rotation can look for both Artillerist builds:
